The brief was clear: keep what was good, replace what wasn't, and don't make it look like a renovation. The original wood paneling stayed. So did the green tile bath — a well-aged small room worth saving.
Around them the work was extensive. Refinished hardwoods throughout, new white cabinetry in the kitchen against a long marble island, a second bath rebuilt with hex tile and warm metal hardware. Every system in the house renewed.
The result reads as the same house, only better. That's the work we like most — invisible craftsmanship that lets the building be itself.
